The brand confirmed the news via Instagram in a reel, although no further details about the new site have been given.
Coqfighter was founded in 2014 by friends Deacon Rose, Troy Sawyer and Tristan Clough. The brand began with pop-ups in pubs and, following a series of successful residencies, opened its first permanent site at Boxpark.
It has since grown to four full-service restaurant locations across London, in Liverpool Street, Soho, King’s Cross and Finsbury Park, alongside a wider network of delivery kitchens across the UK.
The menu focuses on fried chicken, with sandwiches including the Original, featuring sambal mayo, Korean hot sauce, pink onion and shredded lettuce; and the Honey Ginger Buffalo, made with honey ginger buffalo garlic sauce, smoked garlic mayo and house pickles. The menu also includes wings and roast and grilled chicken, as well as sides including loaded fries and mash and gravy.
Last year, the brand announced plans to reach 100 delivery sites within 12 months after launching 10 new locations through restaurant technology platform Growth Kitchen.
