The new restaurant will be located on Tower Bridge Road, joining its locations in Lewisham and Bexleyheath.
Founded in 2025 by Tenzing Sherpa and Chhong Sherpa, who is also the founder of made-to-order sushi brand IRO Sushi, Momo & Co specialises in Nepalese-inspired fast-casual food.
Momo dumplings sit at the centre of its menu and are available steamed, fried or pan-seared, with chicken, pork and vegetarian fillings. They can also be served with jhol, a tangy broth made with peanut and sesame.
“What started as an idea to create a modern fast-casual restaurant around momo has quickly transformed into a brand with huge scalability. In our first two locations, we’ve seen strong demand for our authentic momo, great for lunch, an afternoon bite, or dinner, and now see an opportunity to expand our UK footprint with more openings,” says Tenzing Sherpa.
“Over time, we believe Momo & Co can become the brand of choice when it comes to Nepalese street food, and we are working strategically to make this vision become a reality.”
Chhong Sherpa adds: “Over the last decade, we have worked tirelessly to scale IRO Sushi and make the brand into what it is today.
“However, in the back of my mind, I always knew that there was an opportunity to bring Nepalese momo dumplings to the UK through a highly scalable QSR format, which is exactly what we’ve done with Momo & Co.
“We look forward to continuing our growth journey with the opening of our Tower Bridge location this weekend.”
Momo & Co said it intends to continue expanding its UK footprint, with the Tower Bridge Road opening forming part of its medium-term growth plans.
