The restaurant group has partnered with Merlin Entertainments and Aramark at Thorpe Park to serve food during the theme park’s Fright Nights events.
The range features single-serve, hand-stretched pizzas, including the Sloppy Giuseppe, BBQ Chicken, American and Margherita.
The pizzas are being served from a branded Airstream at the park, with Pizza Express saying orders are served in less than one minute.
The deal will run throughout the Fright Nights event, from 2 October to 1 November, with Pizza Express saying further food-to-go locations are planned to launch soon.
“Pizza Express has been an iconic part of family days out for more than six generations, so it feels only right to launch our first ever hot food to go range with Merlin and Aramark at Thorpe Park throughout the Fright Night month,” says Chris Holmes, Pizza Express chief commercial officer.
“This is just the start of an exciting new mission to bring ultra-fast restaurant-quality hot pizza and dough balls to people on the move.”
Paul Baines, regional director of Southern Operations at Aramark, adds: “Partnering with the iconic brand that is Pizza Express to bring these new pizzas to the market is incredibly exciting.
“A new offering from a trusted brand like Pizza Express is exactly what the hot food-to-go market needs.”
The partnership with Merlin Entertainments and Aramark follows a series of recent launches from Pizza Express, including the Margherita pizza at 30,000 feet on Aer Lingus flights and the opening of quick service locations across London, with three of these new formats opening in 2026.
