London restaurant The Ledbury has re-entered The 50 Best Restaurants 2026 51-100 list for the first time since 2019.

The Notting Hill restaurant, run by chef-patron Brett Graham, is ranked at number 83 on the list and is one of only two UK-based restaurants to make the long list. The other, Santiago Lastra’s KOL, is ranked at number 70, having been placed at number 49 the 2025 list.

The extended 51-100 list features restaurants across six continents, including 20 from Europe, and is compiled from the votes of more than 1,100 international restaurant experts including renowned chefs, leading food writers and global culinary specialists.

It has been revealed ahead of this year’s awards ceremony, which takes place in Lima, Peru on 4 November.

“This year’s extended list reflects the breadth and brilliance of global gastronomy, with restaurants spanning six continents and 25 territories,” says Rikki Tidball, managing director of events for The 50.

“The extended list is an opportunity to celebrate the excellence we’ve seen this year, while also looking ahead to what’s next with more innovation and a new generation of chefs bringing fresh ideas to the table.”

The highest new entry in the 51-100 list is Ling Long in Shanghai, Mainland China, which is ranked at number 53.

The list also includes nine new entries from nine different cities, ranging from Dubai and Giza to São Paulo and Seoul.
