Called 18th Floor Restaurant and Bar, the new space has been created in a collaboration between East Coast Concepts and Des Gunewardena’s D3 Collective and will feature a dining room as well as open-air terraces.
The restaurant will focus on serving meat and seafood with menu items to include whole grilled Scottish lobster; and steaks from fillet and New York strip to larger cuts, including a 900g tomahawk, a 900g porterhouse and a 650g côte de boeuf, which are designed to be shared.
The wine list has been put together by D3 Head Sommelier Giuseppe Lacona, whose career includes Coq d’Argent and Petrus by Gordon Ramsay, and has a focus on Argentine malbecs and Tuscan reds as well as wines from Bordeaux and Napa Valley. It will also offer an extensive champagne selection.
East Coast Concepts operate two premium restaurant and bar brands - Victors and Neighbourhood across six locations in the UK, while D3 Collective’s portfolio includes Engel and Jang at the Grade I-listed Royal Exchange in the City of London, and the 30,000sq ft, Grade II-listed Pillar Hall at Olympia in West London that houses Pepperbird and Idalia.
Opening on the 29 October, 18th Floor Restaurant and Bar will also host DJs and live musicians at the weekends.
