Tossed has revealed a new menu and store format designed to support its next phase of growth.

Tossed, which is one of London’s first build-your-own salad bar groups, unveiled the new look at its London Wall site, which will become the blueprint for its stores and which kicks off a new phase of growth, starting with its first airport store opening at Gatwick airport.

The site has been given a refreshed look with a mural by artist James Daw.

The group, which was founded more than 20 years ago, has relaunched around nutrition and personalisation. It’s new Feel Good, Your Way campaign and menu allows customers to build a salad bowl around their own nutrition priorities, with calories and macros shown on every dish so guests can see exactly what they’re getting.

Hero dishes on the new menu include the Korean kimchi chicken powerbowl, with spicy marinated chicken thigh, rainbow slaw, kimchi and a kimchi-ranch dressing; the twelve veg tofu salad, which pairs twelve fresh vegetables with crispy smoked tofu, harissa-roasted chickpeas and a tahini dressing; and the £9.99 hot meal deal, a halloumi and falafel toasted wrap with spicy tomato and chickpea soup.

Tossed currently operates 11 restaurants, predominantly in London. Its site in London Gatwick North will open in the autumn and will be its 12th restaurant and its first in a travel hub.

“London Wall shows what Tossed will look like from here, with the new menu, the new design and James Daw’s mural,” says Neil Sebba, managing director at Tossed.

“Gatwick is also a big moment for us. It’s our first airport store and it means we can give people a proper made-to-order lunch when they’re often short on time and short on healthy options.”
