Yesterday's Restaurant Show at Earls Court 2 saw thousands of visitors enjoy a star-studded line up of top chefs, including Ferran Adria and Simon Hulstone perform live interviews and demonstrate their skills, and today’s show promises to be just as big.

Michael Caines will join the likes of Richard Corrigan and Chris McGowan, Hywel Jones from Lucknam Park Hotel, Armin Leitgrab from Les Ais in Singapore, Patrick Williams from The Terrace and Vivek Singh from The Cinnamon Club, as they perform live on the Centre Stage on the hour, every hour throughout the day.

Also putting their skills into action will be the four teams participating in the Gastropub Challenge, a new competition to this year's show. Four chefs will compete against one another using a mystery basket of ingredients to create a two-course meal for the judges, assisted only by one waiting staff each.

Following on from Cyrus Todiwala's efforts yesterday, Giorgio Locatelli will be in the shows on-site Signature restaurant, leading a team of Westminster Kingsway students as they cook for hungry visitors.

Over in the Business Briefing Theatre, several industry experts including Iqbal Wahhab from Roast, Sara Stewart from Jeffreys Henry, David Page from Clapham House Group, Sam Harrison and Chris Galvin, will be taking part in a live discussion on the best ways to successfully grow a business.

And if you’re visiting the show, make sure to stop by the BigHospitality stand at K30, where you can get the chance to put your questions to Michael Caines in a live interview.

Don’t forget to join us throughout today and tomorrow for more live updates from the 2009 Restaurant Show.
