Soon-to-launch Fulham private members club Lighthouse Social has appointed Philli Armitage-Mattin as its chef partner.

A finalist on TV cooking competition Masterchef: The Professionals in 2020, Armitage-Mattin is best-known in the industry for residencies at InterContinental London Park Lane and Covent Garden’s Kebab Queen.

Her all-day menu at Lighthouse Social’s will be inspired by the ‘fusion of Asian and American cuisines’ combining the ‘depth of Korean and Southeast Asian flavours with the soulful energy of New York comfort food’.

Dishes will be served across multiple club spaces – including a 45-seat flagship restaurant, lounges, a rooftop, and private dining and event areas.

Set to open this Spring, Lighthouse Social will be split over three floors with 10,000 sq ft of indoor space and 2,000 sq ft of outdoor space, including two large rooftop terraces.

In addition to the restaurant, facilities will include a screening room, library, shared workspace and a crèche.

Light Social is part of the Fulham Pier development, which will also be home to a number of casual food brands and a British brasserie from Trinity chef Adam Byatt.

“Joining Lighthouse Social as chef partner is such an exciting step, especially since it’s right here in my own community,” Armitage-Mattin says.

“I can’t wait to bring my passion for bold, epic flavours and creativity to the club, creating dishes that connect people over incredible food. Members can expect an unforgettable dining experience in one of the most amazing riverside spots around.”

Emily Biggs, head of membership at Lighthouse Social, added: “Community lies at the heart of Lighthouse Social, so it felt perfect to appoint Philli – a renowned chef and Fulham local.”

“We can’t wait for our members to enjoy her creations in our new club, especially as we share the same belief that the root of all food experiences is based on individual journeys, stories and connections.”
