Brasserie Constance will offer an à la carte menu and a set lunch menus comprised of ‘approachable, immaculately executed seasonal dishes’.
On the second level of the development, the restaurant is named after and to some extent inspired by cookery writer, florist and ceramicist Constance Spry.
Brasserie Constance will be complemented by Flo, a riverside cocktail bar, featuring a dedicated small-plates menu.
A 200-bin wine list curated by the sommelier team at Byatt’s Michelin-starred Clapham restaurant Trinity will be available at both venues.
The interiors of Brasserie Constance have been designed by Lazaro Rosa-Violán, creating a space designed to maximise its uninterrupted views of the River Thames.
“I’m delighted to be opening a third neighbourhood restaurant in South-West London. Having lived in Fulham for several years during my early career, it is an exciting full-circle moment to be bringing Brasserie Constance to life within such a landmark destination,” says Byatt, who in addition to Trinity and the more informal Upstairs at Trinity owns Clapham’s Bistro Union and also oversees the food at Mayfair’s Brown’s Hotel, London as culinary director.
“Fulham Pier offers the perfect setting to showcase the very best of British dining, surrounded by stunning views of the Thames. I look forward to welcoming guests to this new space in 2025.”
Fulham Pier director Glen Sutton added: “We are beyond thrilled to be working with Adam Byatt and his team. Brasserie Constance will combine inspiration from the incredible heritage of the area, alongside the warmth and hospitality of a great neighbourhood restaurant.”
Brasserie Constance will join a number of more casual restaurants that have already been announced, including Goila Butter Chicken; Base Face Pizza; and Tinie Tempah’s Raps.
Located on the ground level of Fulham Pier, Riverside Market is billed as a ‘vibrant food experience with a multitude of individual gastronomy and beverage concepts’.
A boutique hotel and health spa concept is also planned for the venture, which will complete the Putney Bridge to Hammersmith Bridge waterside walk, allowing pedestrians to access the Thames Path for the first time since the stadium opened.
