Mykonos-founded restaurant group Nammos is set to open its first UK location four years after it mooted the idea.

Opening in Mayfair, the new site is part of the Greek restaurant group’s planned expansion into global city locations, extending the brand beyond its coastal and resort origins.

The company had originally intended to make its London debut with a restaurant in Knightsbridge, announcing the plan back in 2022, but will instead open within the Ada Building on Berkeley Street.

The ambitious Mayfair venue will span two floors and operate seven days a week, with its first floor dedicated to private dining and events.

The menu will combine Mediterranean cuisine with Japanese influences and have a focus on high-quality fish and shellfish with the restaurant to feature a raw bar and wood-fired Josper grill. Signature dishes will include aubergine mille-feuille with feta mousse; spicy crab tartare with yuzu truffle; and black Angus beef.

A global wine list and cocktails such as the Nammos spritz and Mediterranean martini complement the food offering.

Founded in 2003 on Psarou Beach, Mykonos, Nammos operates a number of upscale restaurants in Dubai, Cannes, Sardinia, and Limassol.

The interior design for the Mayfair restaurant will adapt the Nammos identity for an urban setting, rather than replicating the original Mykonos beach restaurant.
