Two of the openings will be in London, with a third in Winchester, which will become the brand’s second regional site alongside its existing restaurant in Guildford.
The first new opening will be at 121 Bethnal Green Road in Shoreditch in July. The restaurant has been designed to capture the spirit of Palermo, featuring statement Arabesque washbasins inspired by the Sicilian city’s 400-year Moorish heritage, alongside a series of hidden design details for guests to discover.
A second London restaurant will follow at 68-70 Wardour Street in Soho in July or August, building on demand generated by the brand’s nearby New Oxford Street site.
Outside the capital, Pasta Evangelists will open at 9-11 High Street in Winchester in July. The venue will be the group’s largest restaurant to date, with 131 covers and five pasta-making events scheduled each week.
All three restaurants will showcase Pasta Evangelists’ refreshed design concept and offer both dine-in service and the brand’s signature pasta-making experiences.
Pasta Evangelists began as a delivery-only concept before entering the restaurant market in 2021 with an opening in Harrods Dining Hall. The business was acquired by Barilla Group later that year and has since expanded rapidly to become the UK’s second-largest specialist pasta restaurant group after Coco di Mama.
“We are incredibly excited to be bringing Pasta Evangelists to Shoreditch, Soho and Winchester this summer,” says co-founder Finn Lagun. “Each of these locations has its own distinct character and energy, and we can’t wait to introduce our freshly made pasta and hands-on pasta-making experiences to a whole new wave of guests.
“Our restaurants have always been about more than a meal; they’re about connection, craft and a genuine love of Italian food, and that’s exactly what all three new sites will deliver.”
