The event, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, will take place in the country’s capital Lima on 4 November.
Lima is no stranger to the awards, having hosted the inaugural Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants awards programme in 2013.
An extensive event programme – backed by 50 Best’s host partner PromPerú – will build up to the awards ceremony, when The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 ranking will be revealed. Highlights for the programme in Peru will include thought-leadership forum #50BestTalks, exploring some of the most pertinent topics affecting the hospitality industry today; a 50 Best Signature Sessions series of collaborative dining events where chefs from 50 Best-ranked restaurants will cook alongside renowned local talent; and a Chefs’ Feast showcasing the finest quality ingredients and cooking techniques for which the region is known.

At The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 awards ceremony held in Turin, Italy, Maido in Lima was named The World’s Best Restaurant – the second Peruvian restaurant to achieve the coveted number one ranking in the past three years.
