London is getting another premium bagel shop with a new launch from AZ Collective Hospitality.

No.1 Princes Street will open in Mayfair next month promising to bring authentic North American bagel culture to the capital.

By day it will serve bagels with ‘chef-led fillings’ before moving to a late-night cocktail experience inspired by New York’s hidden bars in the evenings.

Bagel options will include classic plain, sesame, everything, wholegrain and cinnamon and raisin bagels with filling options to include smoked salmon and

cream cheese; avocado and egg; and bacon and egg, salt beef melt; pulled pork BBQ; chicken club; and a New York-inspired Reuben.

In the evenings the venue will transform into an cocktail-led destination serving an exclusive late-night menu alongside signature serves including the No.1 Princes Martini; Tomatini; Caviar Martini; Vesper; Mezcal Negroni; and Limoncello Spritz.

“We wanted to create something that feels uniquely London while taking inspiration from the best neighbourhood bagel shops in North America,” the company says.

“No.1 Princes Street isn’t simply somewhere to grab a bagel - it’s a place people can visit throughout the day, whether that’s for breakfast, coffee, lunch, an evening cocktail or a late-night bite.

“We’ve focused on exceptional ingredients, craftsmanship and creating an experience that reflects the quality and energy of Mayfair.”

The new launch is part of wider activity in the capital’s growing US style bagel sector. Earlier this month New York-style bagel shop and café It’s Bagels announced it will open its fourth site in the capital, on Hampstead High Street, next month.
