Boxpark plans to run for another three years

Boxpark has recorded the biggest grossing revenue week in its history, surpassing the £1m mark for the first time.

The food hall operator says the seven-figure revenue was delivered across six operational sites and driven by its most successful World Cup activation to date, including two sold-out England matches within a seven-day period.

A packed concert schedule at Wembley stadium, which drove footfall throughout the week at Boxpark Wembley, also contributed to the figure.

Boxpark says the milestone reflects its diversified revenue model, with increased footfall during the tournament supporting trading across food and beverage, experiences, and wider commercial activity. Earlier this year, it revealed its vision to pivot its business model to become less reliant on drinks sales.

“This milestone is a testament to the Boxpark team’s commitment and drive to deliver across all revenue channels in our business,” says Boxpark CEO Matt Snell.

“It speaks directly to our vision of becoming a truly omni-channel business. With 15 separate revenue streams across the business all delivering, we have been able to break all internal records for a single week.

“With the Argentina game selling out in just two hours and commercial brand partners continuing to activate with us, we are expecting another massive week ahead.”

Earlier this month Street food group KERB recorded its busiest events weekend in its history taking more than £800,000 of revenue over three days.
