The new Leicester site will create more than 20 jobs and follows the opening of Cluck’d restaurants in Milton Keynes and Norwich.
Founded by Ricky Sahota, Cluck’d serves a menu of flame-grilled chicken available in a range of sauces, as well as burgers, wraps, rice boxes, loaded fries and handcrafted shakes.
“Leicester was a city we kept coming back to,” says Ricky Sahota, founder of Cluck’d.
“It’s a place with a brilliant food culture, a diverse community and people who genuinely appreciate quality food, so it felt like the right place for our next restaurant. We’ve built Cluck’d around serving fresh, flavour-packed food that’s made to order, and we’re excited to finally bring that to Leicester.
“We want to become part of the local community and create somewhere people come back to because they love the food and the experience.”
Cluck’d will also introduce its new Pitta Club range this summer, adding pitta-based meals to its existing menu of chicken dishes.
