Viral chopped salad wrap brand CZER has secured a second London location following the success of its original Mayfair site.

The new site, on Brewer Street in Soho, close to Piccadilly Circus, has been secured for an initial six-month period as founders Mairi Livsey and Marius Baltaitis test whether there is sufficient demand to scale the concept long term.

CZER is expected to have the site up and running within two weeks, mirroring the rapid launch of its original location, which opened just a month after Livsey and Baltaitis first teased the concept on social media.

Speaking in a video posted to Instagram, Livsey said she was “thrilled, nervous, petrified and over the moon” to announce the new project.

CZER currently operates from a counter at the back of Mayfair Food Fayre, a newsagent close to Marble Arch.

Inspired by the chopped Caesar wraps that have become hugely popular in New York, Livsey and Baltaitis initially posted an image of their proposed product on TikTok, which received more than 100,000 views within 24 hours and helped validate the concept ahead of its launch earlier this year.

CZER has a tightly focused menu centred on two chicken Caesar wraps – the Classic CZER and Picante CZER. Both contain oven-roasted chicken breast, lettuce, parmesan, croutons and house Caesar dressing, with the Picante offering a spicier take.

The concept has attracted significant attention on social media, with queues at the Mayfair site reportedly stretching to around an hour. CZER has responded by handing out water and snacks to those waiting and posting regular queue updates on Instagram.

Livsey said some businesses neighbouring Mayfair Food Fayre had complained about the queues generated by CZER, but added that Westminster City Council had praised the brand for its queue management.
