The seven-strong restaurant group reported pre-tax profits of £1.1m for the year ended 28 December 2025, up from £44,794 the year before.
The large increase follows a ‘very good year’ for the chop house group with revenue and underlying EBITDA also showing strong increases and covers growing across all restaurants.
Revenue grew 25.51%, from £19.6m to £24.6m while underlying EBITDA rose 9.09% from £2.2m to £2.4m.
Writing in the results, Blacklock founder Gordon Ker said that against the context of a challenging trading environment, the directors are ‘delighted’ with the strong trading performance and profitability of the group.
“The group’s continued focus on improving the quality of the experience it provides to our team and guests alike supported growth in covers, revenue and underlying EBITDA, reflecting the operational resilience of the business and the continued strength of the Blacklock brand,” he said.
Over the year the group’s first regional restaurant, in Manchester, completed its first full year of trading and performed ahead of expectations.
Subsequent to the year end the group opened its second regional outpost and seventh restaurant overall in Birmingham, which Ker said is also ‘trading strongly’.
