Following an international selection process, Angel will join seven other chefs representing different culinary cultures and perspectives in the final, which is being held on 16 November.
Other finalists are Ricardo Goachet, from Verbena in Peru; Pablo Quiven, from Quiven Patagonia in Argentina; Jorge Enrique Rosales, from Rosewood Mandarina in Mexico; Jonathan Canahuire, from Elkano Txiki in Spain; Kamlesh Singh Kathayat, from Gymkhana Dubai in the UAE; Adnan Öztürk, from The Bodrum EDITION in Turkey; and Vitaliia Veselovska, from Kadorr Restaurant in Ukraine.
The World’s Creative Chef is an international competition created by Fagor Professional Food Service to find the most creative chef in the world.
Each finalist will be challenged with developing and presenting an innovative dish that reflects their own culinary vision with their creations to be assessed by the international World’s Creative Chef jury, featuring some of the most influential names in contemporary gastronomy, including chefs Quique Dacosta, Clare Smyth, Jaime Pesaque, Paco Roncero, Diego Guerrero and Najat Kaanache.
