Inception Group to open new concept at London’s Admiralty Arch

Inception Group is joining the impressive line up at luxury London hotel Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch.

The bar group, which operates brands including Mr Fogg’s and Cahoots, will open The Admiral’s Mess, a 2,400sq ft bar within the central London hotel. he Admiral’s Mess will have a 60-seat capacity and will sit outside the group’s existing brands.

“We are honoured to have the opportunity to open within such an iconic London location and are excited to have created a totally unique concept fitting for such a historic site,” says Charlie Gilkes, co-founder of Inception Group.

The Admiral’s Mess will join openings from Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud at the Grade I listed monument, which is being restored by Reuben Brothers, in partnership with Hilton. Smyth is opening seafood-focused Coreus by Clare Smyth while Boulud will mark his return to the capital’s dining scene with Café Boulud, a high-end all day dining restaurant serving breakfast and afternoon tea as well as lunch and dinner menus.

Coreus will also house Smyth’s Whiskey & Seaweed bar.

The new project will build Inception Group’s presence in the capital and continue its move into landmark London locations. The group also operates Control Room B, a 1950s inspired bar set within the former control room of the Power Station, and most recently secured a site for a flagship of its Mr Fogg’s in Covent Garden’s Market Building.
