The London-founded restaurant group recently opened its third Malaysian location in Penang and is preparing to launch in Istanbul.
Burger & Lobster also has outposts in New York, Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia.
Further franchise territories are under discussion, while the group is also developing a new concept that it intends to reveal in the coming months.
The expansion update comes as Burger & Lobster reported a £2m loss for the financial year ended 28 December 2025.
Turnover dipped slightly from £34.1m to £33.7m, which the group described as a resilient performance given the wider pressures facing the sector and continued caution among diners.
Burger & Lobster opened two UK restaurants during the year, in Brighton and on Kensington High Street, bringing it total number of sites on these shores to 11.
10 of these restaurants are in London, with Brighton now its sole regional location.
The group said the costs associated with opening new restaurants, combined with the continuing impact of National Minimum Wage increases, put pressure on margins during the period.
Its wholesale supply business performed strongly, generating £2.6m from supplying lobster to other restaurants, up from £1.8m the previous year.
Burger & Lobster also said the average Google review rating across its UK estate had risen to 4.86 out of five, which it described as being among the highest scores in the casual dining sector.
The group’s average length of service now stands at three years and eight months, while one in five employees was promoted internally during the past 12 months.
Burger & Lobster was founded in 2011 by school friends Misha and Roman Zelman, Ilya Demichev and George Bukhov-Weinstein, opening its first restaurant in a former pub on Clarges Street in Mayfair.
The brand was originally part of the same stable as Goodman Steakhouses and Beast, but the founders divided their business interests last year.
The Zelman brothers took ownership of Burger & Lobster, while Demichev and Bukhov-Weinstein assumed control of Goodman and Beast.
Misha Zelman stepped down as Burger & Lobster’s chief executive in 2025, with Dino Sura taking over as global chief executive. Zelman remains a non-executive director.
