The Twenty Two restaurant in Mayfair has reopened as Café 22 following a brief closure.

Café 22, which is located within luxury boutique hotel The Twenty Two on North Audley Street, is a neighbourhood café style restaurant, ‘echoing the spirit of Parisian inspired dining’ and is being overseen by Guillaume Glipa, whose previously roles include time at London hot spots Chiltern Firehouse, Louie London and Annabel’s.

It serves a menu inspired by classic French cuisine, overseen by The Twenty Two’s global culinary director Alan Christie with dishes such as canard à l’orange; poulet rôti à la truffe; bar entier grillé, pommes de terre croustillantes, sauce vierge; and foie gras terrine and agen prune featuring on the menu.

Dessert include brown butter madeleines; apple tarte tatin; crème brûlée; and profiteroles.

A weekend brunch is also served with items such as warm lobster roll and French fries; croque monsieur/croque madame; and wagyu côte de boeuf with café de Paris butter on the menu.

In addition, Café 22 is host to a roaming Martini trolley serving cocktails tableside.

Guests now enter the restaurant via a new entrance on North Audley Street.
