The brand, known for its Basque-style cheesecakes, is heading to the Cotswolds with the opening of a site at Bicester Village.
The new venue will open on 1 October.
Founded in 2021 by husband-and-wife duo Ignacio and Lucia, La Maritxu has established a loyal following for its Basque cheesecake, drawing inspiration from the city of Bilbao. At the heart of the menu is its signature cheesecake, baked at a high temperature to achieve its distinctive caramelised top and luxuriously creamy centre.
The Bicester Village site will offer a selection of its signature cakes in different sizes, from individual slices and mini cheesecakes through to medium cakes and whole cheesecakes.

The opening menu will also feature two seasonal flavours created especially for the autumn launch. The first, Tiramisu (pictured above), puts a coffee-led twist on the much-loved dessert, while the Chocolate and Orange Basque Cheesecake has been created exclusively for Bicester Village.
La Maritxu operates four cafés across London, with a central kitchen in Bethnal Green producing more than 300 cheesecakes daily.
