A line-up of 18 chefs, yet to be announced, will swap their aprons for boxing gloves for nine competitive bouts to raise money for food education.
Jason Atherton, who fought at the inaugural event, will return as a guest judge, while Calum Franklin will curate the menu.
The first Food Fight raised more than £152,000 to fund practical cooking sessions in schools and youth outreach projects, helping young people develop essential life skills and discover careers in hospitality and food-related businesses.
“Cooking experiences and hands-on food education teaches children invaluable life skills, and events, like Food Fight, help Prept to deliver these sessions to a range of schools and youth outreach projects across the country,” says Jessica Aggarwal, co-founder of Prept. Foundation.
“Food Fight also provides a chance for the hospitality and food professionals to make an impact. Every ticket, every donation, and every cheer helps fuel real change.”
Held in March, the inaugural event saw Atherton narrowly defeat his former employee Andy Benyon, while Paul Foster secured the night’s only TKO against Niall Keating.
Other highlights included Jonpaul Sato’s victory over Dan Page and Celia Farrar’s closely fought win against Chloe McCoy.
Michael Bremner, Woongchul Park, Tom Hamblet, Kray Tredwell, Adam Smith and Alex Bond were also among those stepping into the ring, with most participants having spent six months undergoing professional boxing training.
