Tim Hortons says it continues to see ‘significant opportunity’ in the UK after reporting a return to underlying EBITDA profitability and its eighth consecutive quarter of like-for-like (LFL) sales growth.

The Canadian QSR brand says it has maintained its growth momentum across the UK and Ireland market, where it operates 63 sites, recording LFL growth of 5% for the 39-week period to 30 September 2026.

Underlying EBITDA for the period was £1.9m, a 235% compared to the corresponding period in 2025. Year-to-day revenue was £76.5m.

The group says the LFL sales growth was driven by an increase in orders and average ticket value growth. All channels contributed to the performance, with delivery LFL sales increasing by 11.9% and delivery transactions growing by 8.9%.

Within Tim Hortons’ system globally, the UK&I business is delivering one of the highest average unit sales. “Achieving our eighth consecutive quarter of like-for-like sales growth, while returning to underlying EBITDA profitability, represents important progress for Tim Hortons in the UK&I,” says Deepinder Batth, CEO of Tim Hortons UK&I.

“This reflects the strength of our proposition and the team’s continued efforts to deliver the quality, convenience and value our customers expect.”

Over the period, Tim Hortons credits menu innovation for ‘significantly energising customer engagement’. This includes through the launch of new matcha and mango drinks, as well as buffalo ranch and blueberry bakery ranges.

“We continue to see a significant opportunity in the UK’s coffee and food market, where customers are looking for quality coffee and freshly prepared food at an affordable price point,” Batth adds.

“Through continued investment in our people, menu innovation and operational improvements, we aim to build on this progress and realise the brand’s potential for sustainable, profitable growth over the long term.”
