The Salad Project has opened its first travel hub location at London Bridge station.

The fast-growing premium salad concept has secured a site on Tooley Street that previously housed Pure to open a 14-cover site that will primarily target the high‑volume flow of commuters and local workers.

The smaller site still offers The Salad Project’s full range of customisable salads and bowls. It will be the group’s 15th London location.

“London Bridge Station has been a personal target since day one,” says Florian de Chezelles, who launched The Salad Project with James Dare in 2021.

“It’s not just a major transport hub; it’s an iconic London location, and being part of it is a huge milestone for us.”

In January The Salad Project completed a £9m fundraise to help fund its expansion into Europe, with Active Partners coming onboard as investors. Its first international location is set to launch in Paris in September.

“We’re only at the start of our journey, but we have big plans for growth,” adds de Chezelles.

“What has made The Salad Project so popular is our commitment to excellence in food, store design, and service quality, a secret recipe that has allowed us to build an incredibly loyal customer base.

“We are fully committed to delivering that same high standard at London Bridge, ensuring that commuters and travellers can experience fresh, healthy, and delicious food, served with speed and care.”
