The new site, located at Townsmoor Retail Park on Great Bolton Street, will be the company’s second Lancashire location, following the launch of its first site in June.
The opening follows a growing number of major brands introducing drive-thru formats in the UK, including Pret A Manger and Chick-fil-A.
Customers at the Blackburn branch will be able to order from Black Sheep Coffee’s full menu, including its speciality coffee, matcha and smoothies alongside pastries and cakes.
The Blackburn opening is being led by a Lancashire-based franchise team.
“Opening Black Sheep Coffee’s first UK drive-thru in Blackburn is a huge milestone for the team,” says the franchise team.
“We opened our first Lancashire site in Lancaster just a few months ago, so to follow this with a completely new format demonstrates our commitment to Black Sheep Coffee.
“Our team is from Lancashire, so growing Black Sheep Coffee here means a lot to us.
“We want to invest in the region we know and call home, create new spaces for local communities and build something that has a lasting presence here.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome our first customers to Blackburn in September.”
Two additional sites are currently planned for late 2026 and early 2027.
