Pizza Pilgrims says it has experienced a ‘landmark period of growth’ in its latest financial accounts.

In its strategic report for the extended period to 31 December 2025, the group said it has experienced a ‘transformative chapter in our story’ marked by significant investment in new pizzerias, the refurbishment and extension of its first site, in Soho, and a new ownership structure that positions the brand for the next stage of growth.

Pizza Pilgrims reported revenue of £59.8m, up from £34.4m in the 12 months ended 30 June 2024. It also saw a return to profit, with a pre-tax profit of £662,516 compared to a loss of £100,817 the previous year.

EBITDA rose from £2.90m to £5.49m

In October 2025 pizza group L’Osteria, which is backed by McWin, became the parent company of the business, a move which Pizza Pilgrims said has provided a platform for ‘accelerated growth, knowledge-sharing across European markets, and access to operational best practises’.

Pizza Pilgrims operates 30 sites across the UK and opened five new restaurants in the reporting period, in Edinburgh, Spitalfields, Manchester, Birmingham and King’s Cross in what it described as its ‘most ambitious period of expansion to date’.

Expansion continues into 2026 with five new sites planned. These include a site in Glasgow, which opened in May, and one in Bristol in June. A restaurant in Wimbledon is due to open later this summer.

The group said its priorities for the year were to strengthen like-for-like performance across its estate and invest further in its teams.

“We remain true to the values that built this brand, authentic pizza, happy teams, and unforgettable guest experiences,” it added.

“The best is yet to come.”
