Popeyes UK has launched its first-ever loyalty programme, allowing customers to earn points on purchases made online and in its restaurants.

Popeyes Rewards launches nationwide today (2 September) through the company’s app. Members earn 100 points for every £1 spent on eligible purchases, which can be redeemed against menu items.

Points can be earned when ordering through the Popeyes app and website, as well as at restaurant counters and self-service kiosks. Customers who join during the first six weeks of the programme will receive 2,000 points, which can be redeemed for a Chicken Cruncher.

The programme will also include quarterly competitions and brand collaborations under the name Mardi Gras Moments. The first competition will offer a £10,000 cash prize and free chicken sandwiches for life.

The launch follows the growth of Popeyes’ digital channels since its app launched in October 2024. The app has now passed one million downloads, with more than 100,000 customers using it to make purchases each month, according to the company.

Popeyes has also continued to develop its in-house technology. In 2025, it introduced its own self-service kiosk software across its restaurants, while its Voice AI technology is now deployed across its drive-thru estate.

“Popeyes Rewards is an important next step in both furthering our digital strategy and engaging our customers,” says David Carey, chief technology officer at Popeyes UK.

“We’ve seen strong adoption of our app since launch, and this gives us another way to build deeper relationships with our customers and reward their loyalty.

“By developing the platform in house, we can continue evolving it as we grow, with further functionality already in development.”

The company says further features for Popeyes Rewards are in development.
