Camden Town Brewery pledges to give away 260,000 pints of beer through new initiative
Through its 'To The Pub' initiative, the brewer is pledging to give away 260,000 pints of beer to pubs across the country in a bid to help licensees turn a higher profit as they come out of lockdown.
The double dry-hopped American pale ale will be available for pubs to serve on draft; and will also be available in 500ml cans, which customers will be able to buy from the Camden Town Webshop from Friday (26 June), and at selected retailers and convenience from next month.
All the proceeds from the 'To The Pub' cans will be used to contribute towards funding production of the kegs the brewer intends to be give to pubs, which will be hoping to open on 4 July pending Government confirmation.
“Never would I have thought that the industry that’s brought me so much, would need so much help to survive," says Jasper Cuppaidge, founder of Camden Town Brewery.
"It needs all of us, from brewers to beer drinkers, to help this industry get back to stable ground. By drinking To The Pub, whether it’s a 6-pack ordered online, a can you picked up at the shop, or enjoying as a pint in the pub, you’ll be giving back to the hospitality industry when they need it most.”
