Jamie Oliver’s Jamie Oliver Holdings Limited and Jamie Oliver Licensing Limited companies have together put in a strong performance for the financial year ending 31 December 2022 delivering ‘robust’ revenue growth of 8.1%.

The two companies generated a combined turnover of £29.7m and a net profit after tax of £6.2m.

Together the companies represent all the media interests of Jamie Oliver as well as products and partnerships, including the franchising of international restaurant concepts and the Jamie Oliver cookery school.

2022 is described as a ‘transition year’ for the group, with performance 'rebounding' following Covid, and the appointment of Kevin Styles as CEO in July 2022.

During the period the group’s international restaurant franchise business grew by 13 new restaurants. There are now 70 restaurants in 22 countries, serving 35m people across seven restaurant formats, including Jamie’s Italian, Jamie’s Deli and Jamie Oliver Kitchen.

“The Jamie Oliver brand continues to resonate with audiences around the world. The results for 2022 show we have the foundations in place from which to continue to evolve our business, putting our customers first, serving their mealtime needs across a range of relevant media & product solutions as well as restaurant & cooking experiences,” Styles says.

“Our five-year strategy is focused on creating a global, B Corp certified, integrated food business. We plan to bring together all aspects of our group, including media, restaurants, products and the Ministry of Food, with a strong digital transformation plan.”

Towards the end of the year, Oliver will launch his first company-owned restaurant venture in the UK following the collapse of his UK business in 2019, which led to the closure of the chef’s nationwide Jamie’s Italian chain, as well as his Barbecoa and Fifteen restaurants.

Set for November, Jamie Oliver Catherine Street is billed as a produce-focused restaurant ‘that is reflective of Jamie’s love of Britain’s rich and diverse food culture, and champions independent producers and suppliers’.
