Development Chef Awards 2014: In Pictures
The awards, organised by our sister title Restaurant magazine, celebrate those heading up the food offering across a number of restaurants or pubs. The aim is to recognise and reward this important but often unsung part of the cheffing world.
The winners were announced as part of the Development Chef Summit, sponsored by Farm Frites, which was held on 19 March at Westminster Kingsway College and included a full-day programme of demonstrations, forums and interactive presentations before the evening awards presentation.
There were eight categories in the awards:
- Best Restaurant Menu (3-20 sites)
- Best Restaurant Menu (21+ sites)
- Best Pub Menu (3-20 sites)
- Best Pub Menu (21+ sites)
- Best New Dish
- Menu Innovation of the Year
- Group Chef of the Year – Restaurants
- Group Chef of the Year – Pubs
