From the news that Man Behind the Curtain chef-patron Michael O'Hare was teaming up with Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville to oversee food at GG Hospitality, to Philip Howard and Nigel Platts-Martin handing over The Square to MARC Restaurants after 25 years, the impact of the night tube on London's hospitality scene and plans to make a pop-up restaurant where diners lose their inhibitions (and clothes) go permanent, it certainly wasn't a dull year for the industry.
