Incipio Group to take nearly 40,000 sq ft of F&B at Olympia redevelopment
Full details of the project are yet to be announced, but Incipio Group is expected to launch several distinct concepts ranging from ‘casual grab-and-go offers to premium dining and drinking experiences’.
According to Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance International - which are spearheading the £1.3bn 14-acre development - Incipio Group has been selected due to their ‘exceptional track record of operating destination venues in London’.
Set to launch in the summer of 2025, Olympia will have 135,000 sq ft of dedicated F&B space that will include around 14 new restaurants and bars totalling around 4,000 covers.
The new-build part of the development will be set within landscaped gardens, under a new glass-topped roof designed by Heatherwick Studio.
Forming part of the wider development, the original Grade II-listed Olympia building will be home to a new destination restaurant.
In its previous incarnation Olympia had just one public restaurant.
Olympia is also set to showcase ‘the best entertainment London has to offer’ comprising a new theatre, a 4,400 person live music venue, public art exhibitions and performance spaces.
“Olympia is without doubt the most exciting opportunity we have come across as a group; it’s rich history, tradition, cultural and creative significance make it a stand-out destination within the UK,” says Incipio Group CEO Ed Devenport.
“It presents an unmatched canvas for us to curate experiences that are not just about food and drink but about creating memories. We understand the legacy of this iconic landmark and see it as an opportunity to blend its rich and fascinating past with the vibrancy of its future.”
“Incipio Group are excited to introduce several diverse and captivating concepts. We want every visitor to find a story that resonates with them, making their visit to Olympia not just a trip, but an unforgettable experience.”
