Alice Gibbins, club manager, Laguna Health & Spa

Cardiff’s Park Plaza hotel has appointed Alice Gibbins​ as the new club manager at Laguna Health & Spa​.

Caerleon-born Gibbins, 31, has 13 years' experience working in the leisure and hospitality industry and joins Laguna Health & Spa following roles at some of Wales’ leading lifestyle and fitness destinations.

Speaking about her new role, Gibbins said: “I’m really excited to join the team at Laguna Health & Spa. Park Plaza Cardiff is undoubtedly one of South Wales’ premier hotel destinations and the gym and spa facilities are exceptional. 

“I’m keen to introduce lots of new and innovative classes and fitness trends. This November we will be introducing TRX suspension training – a system of ropes and webbing that allows the user to work against their own body weight and improve core strength. We will also be operating intensive group personal trainer sessions and offering themed gym challenges to encourage people to get in shape before the festive season really begins.”
