Heather-Kaniuk
Shangri-La at The Shard has appointed Heather Kaniuk as executive pastry chef to oversee the hotel's team of pastry chefs and cake specialists.
Kaniuk joins The Shard from Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park where she was head pastry chef. Previous employers include Yauatcha Soho, Sake no Hana and Gordon Ramsay's Maze. The pastry chef also spent a year working at the San Francisco Baking Institute in the US.
